Are you qualified?
Yes. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I have an MSc in Counselling Psychology from Keele University.
What do you charge?
Sessions are £55 for a one hour appointment.
You will be sent an invoice when your appointment is booked, which must be paid prior to the session commencing.
I require 12 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If less than 12hrs notice is given a late cancellation fee of £20 will be charged.
Where are you?
Location isn’t an issue – I work online and have clients in Australia, USA, Europe as well as in the UK.
Online counselling has proven to be effective and gives you the flexibility to fit it in with your work and family. I use zoom, which is easy to use and accessible. If you haven’t used it before I will guide you through the process.
I do offer face to face counselling in Hinstock, Shropshire for a limited number of clients.
How many sessions will I need?
This will depend on what you are going through at this time. Most clients book 6 sessions initially and have weekly appointments, if you feel that things are starting to shift, we then move to fortnightly for 1 or 2 months and then a monthly check in after that.
More in depth work such as Inner Child work or establishing Identity after relationships, bereavement and job loss can take longer, due to the mental, emotional, physical and often spiritual impact.
